CHLA has partnered with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to provide materials to help hoteliers plan and manage security at their facilities.
The Department of Homeland Security has disseminated a wide range of resources designed to help private sector businesses, including hoteliers and lodging professionals, train themselves in methods of ensuring a safe environment for staff and guests, and to identify the warning signs for potential terrorist activity.

Hotel Emergency Response Plan (Hotel ERP) (iPhone App)

If You See Something, Say Something
Posters are available for the customized version of the DHS “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign, which encourage employees to report suspicious activity to the proper lodging and law enforcement authorities. Posters are different by region, if you download a poster to print out, please choose whichever region your property is located in. Please note that Los Angeles and San Diego Counties are a different poster than for the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego.

Launched in February 2003, Ready is a national public service advertising (PSA) campaign designed to educate and empower Americans to prepare for and respond to emergencies including natural and man-made disasters.
