Emergency Preparedness

The California Hotel & Lodging Association (CHLA) works with members, state and federal agencies and other interested parties, to help the hotel and lodging industry be better prepared to address emergency situations that may arise.

Department of Homeland Security

CHLA has partnered with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to provide materials to help hoteliers plan and manage security at their facilities.

The Department of Homeland Security has disseminated a wide range of resources designed to help private sector businesses, including hoteliers and lodging professionals, train themselves in methods of ensuring a safe environment for staff and guests, and to identify the warning signs for potential terrorist activity.

Hotel ERP can be customized to include your specific emergency contacts, first responders, utility companies, and much more. The app is an ideal resource for general managers, front desk staff, and associates enabling them to have valuable emergency procedures at the touch of a finger.
